I think Ophelia and Vincent had the right idea when they changed their mind about location choices for their engagement session. I usually advise couples to select a place that is special and unique to both of them. Originally we had planned to visit the usual SF spots, but decided to shoot in and around their home, which was in the Potrero Hill area.

Meet Deepa and Roneel. Roneel says he’s a little camera shy, but it sure didn’t show in the images. Deepa loves reading and keeping up on twitter and blogging. We headed to Castello di Amorosa in Calistoga for their engagement session, which also happens to be where they filmed parts of Bedtime Stories. Really cool location.

I always love shooting in unique locations, and Monterey Bay Aquarium was definitely unique. Although challenging at times, we definitely made the most of it.
