Carol and Maurice got married in front of a plane. A PLANE! Well, not an actual operational plane, but still pretty darn cool.

 

Poor guys….the girls had multiple embarrassing tasks that they had they guys perform before Maurice could see Carol.

 

After a traditional tea ceremony, we had time in between the ceremony to take some quick portraits at the San Mateo Japanese Tea Garden.

 

The ceremony and reception were held at the Hiller Aviation Museum in San Carlos.

 

The flower girls and ring bearer were dressed up as flight attendants. So cute.

 

Carol and Maurice had these little figurines made of themselves and the bridal party.

 

 

Kat and Albert had an awesome wedding celebration at Hotel Valencia in Santana Row this past weekend. Loved all the details, partying, and special moments, including Albert’s brother performing a ‘special’ dance for the couple.

 

The girls were having way too much fun jumping on the bed. Way too much fun.

First look. I can’t stress how much I love it when couples see each other before the ceremony.

 

After the first look, we had some time for a few quick portraits and bridal party shots.

 

The ceremony was held at The Church of Nativity in Menlo Park.

 

After the ceremony, we had more time for B&G; portraits. More time is always good!

 

I think this is my absolute favorite shot of the day. During the first dance, their adorable daughter Chloe joined in and I thought it was the sweetest thing.

Another favorite series of mine, when all the brothers joined in to the Mother/Son dance.

 

I love how Chloe sneaked in a little cake when Kat & Albert weren’t looking.

I feel so honored to have been a part of this wedding, traveling all the way from one coast to another, celebrating with the couples closest friends and family. Back in March, when I first met Vanessa and Justin during their engagement session, there was no doubt in my mind that these two shared a love like no other. It was evident from the moment I met them, and all throughout their wedding day.

Justin was THE most organized groom I have ever met. He had all his items laid out on his bed when I arrived. Only thing missing was his black socks.

 

Justin is a big time Disney fan, so I had to throw this one in.

 

Loved the little Sesame Street themed items they had.

 

Now, this was a first for me. I’ve never been to a wedding where they’ve thrown rice afterwards as the bride and groom came out.

 

Party time started early on the bus ride over to the reception.

 

Gorgeous New York light. I don’t know what it is, but the light is different on the East Coast.

 

One of the best men had to poke fun at Justin and his love for Disney.

 

Vanessa and Justin didn’t have a garter toss, but instead had a dance off to see who got the garter. The 2 best men won, and had to put on a little show.
