This past weekend I had the honor of shooting the wedding of Linda and James with my good friend, and fellow photographer Mieng in Pasadena, CA.
I thought this was so sweet. James presented Linda with a necklace in the shape of a key. She was trying so hard to hold back her tears when she read the note from him.
She was all smiles afterwards though.
I always love these traditional ceremonies. Linda and James had a Chinese Tea Ceremony in which they presented their elders with tea to show gratitude and in exchange were given red envelopes.
The rings:
mmmmmm…chocolate…
Awesome job! I love how you captured all the right moments. Great details too!!
beautiul….:-)
first off, amazing work, obviously.
but I have a question, I really like the by the fountain tilt-shift(ed?) groupshot but how do you get away (explaining to the couple) blurring 2 of the faces from the people in the group sitting at the bottom?
or don't they say anything about that ? they look their best so who cares ?:)
crazy ring shots. like the staircase shot.
Thanks Sandy and uchwycić chwilę : )
Hi Tom, my number 1 priority is always the couple, and to be safe, I always take other shots with standard lenses with everyone in focus. Luckily for me, Linda and James provided plenty of time and creative freedom to provide a different perspective to the standard 'group shot'.
Thanks Manus.
Jason, those ring shots…yummy. I like chocolate.
